WHICH IS WORSE? Sen. Joe Biden (D-Delaware) saying in July, “You cannot go to a Seven-Eleven or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.” Or Sen. George Allen (R-Virginia) this week repeatedly calling an Indian American cameraman, “Macaca,” an ethnic slur with simian roots. We should mention that both are 2008 presidential hopefuls—as is Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-New York) who once joked that Gandhi “ran a gas station down in St. Louis.” Enough is enough. Join the Macaca PAC. Support the Committee to Elect Apu Nahasapeemapetilon!
